Lanín Volcano

The volcano Lanín is the highest in the Araucanía region with its 3776 meters above sea level, it is far superior to all its neighbors. It is located on the Chile-Argentina border sharing this massif between the two countries.  We made this ascent in 2 days. The first day we will arrive at the base camp at 2900m. At dawn we will start our second day that will take us to its summit and after that go down to the base of the volcano. The landscapes that this beautiful volcano presents are among the most beautiful that we can find in these places, forests of araucarias, the majestic mountain of the Andes, several volcanoes and large lakes.
